Our [title of show] cast is hard at work and at play, and our second video blog is now up for your viewing pleasure. The incredible cast of Musical of Musicals has become an even tighter-knit group working on their second show, and I hope you’ve marked your calendar for Jan. 22nd and 28th because you will NOT regret it. Also of note is that our crazy new adult fundraiser with Neptune Sushi opens in a few weeks, and tickets are available now! Just visit the tab for the show-Not Your Mom’s Sushi: A Rockin’ Christmas Spectacular. Tickets are a steal at only $10 a piece (in advance or at the door), but plan early if you want to sit for the extravaganza. Make sure you read the blurb on the show before purchasing your tickets as this show is silly at times and pushing offensive at other times, so if a brutal parody of holiday characters (and Jesus!) is not your idea of a good time, skip this one and join us for [title of show] in January. That said, we have an amazing group of musicians and actors lined up and this is going to be an incredible and original show. Enjoy the vlog and see you soon!

p.s. We’re recruiting advertisers and producers for [title of show], so drop us a line if you can help us out: notyourmoms@gmail.com

Not Your Mom’s Musical Theater now has some great merchandise (tees, hoodies, bumper stickers, etc.) available for purchase at Cafepress.com. Now’s your chance to get Not Your Mom’s T-Shirt, Not Your Mom’s Mug and Not Your Mom’s Messenger Bag. Check it out and pass around the link! 10% comes back to us.

NYMMT is pleased to announce auditions for Not Your Mom’s Sushi: A Rockin’ Christmas Spectacular. The show is a fundraiser for both Not Your Mom’s Musical Theater and Neptune Sushi Productions. Mark your calendars for December 2nd and stay tuned for all the details. If you’d like to audition, please see the Auditions tab of our page. Thanks!

Hi friends, just wanted to update you on NYMMT. We’ve added a few links to our partners on the NYMMT Friends page. In addition, we’ve added a “press and quotes” page, where you will find what both the media and our audiences have to say about our productions. Here you can find the link to our recent review, as well as some audience feedback and other articles written about us. Look for news in the next few weeks about our upcoming productions! Thank you to everyone who has taken our poll too 🙂

The Musical of Musicals: The Musical! played to appreciative audiences and hysterical laughter during its run this past weekend. Thanks to everyone who came out to check out the first production by Not Your Mom’s Musical Theater! Particularly one of a kind were the intermission performances by the cast (and chosen by the audience.) Lots of fun was had by all (perhaps the best was Jennifer Mallard singing “I Don’t Know How to Love Him” to everyone in the entire theater!) and new friends and contacts were made as well. We’ll post our reviews and feedback soon. If you enjoyed the cast, they’ll be back for Title of Show in a few months, and the blogs will be coming soon. Thank you again for your support!
