Not Your Mom’s seeks TALENTED ZOMBIES for their first ever Zombie Pageant!   Application is HERE

Not Your Mom’s Musical Theater is accepting applications for what is sure to be the best talent competition ever. Chosen contestants (based on a written application available at notyourmomsmusicaltheater.com or by emailing notyourmoms@gmail.com) will dress as zombies. Applicants will present their zombie talent, participate in the “aquatic competition”, and will be asked to answer questions about their “zombie platform”.

Judges and emcees will consist of a growing list of local celebrities and pageant judges including George Piehl and Jennifer Sue Mallard.

The competition is a fundraiser for the hilarious off-Broadway musical Zombie Prom, which spoofs the era and music of the 1950’s, as well as musicals like Grease, Bye Bye Birdie and Little Shop of Horrors. Not Your Mom’s Musical Theater performs the show Sept. 27-29 and Oct. 4-6, with an exclusive VIP after-party (an actual prom!) featuring makeup and photo booths, food from local restaurants, and a swag bag for each guest.

Audiences are invited to mark their calendars for Sunday, September 1st, when they can attend and vote for their favorite zombies.

The winner of the zombie pageant, in addition to receiving a few gifts, will be crowned Zombie Prom Monarch at the after-party to Zombie Prom on Friday, October 4th. Both the musical and the pageant will be held at the Derry Opera House in downtown Derry, NH.

The deadline for submissions is August 5th, so please help us spread the word! An application fee of $20 will be charged, but there is no additional fee – contestants will be provided with dinner in between rehearsal and performance on the day of the pageant.
