About the Tour:

Not Your Mom’s Musical Theater presents Something Wonderful I Missed, an innovative concert series that mixes musical theater history with performances from Broadway and off-Broadway musicals that audiences might have missed. Four versatile triple-threats (actors, dancers and singers) will have you shedding tears of laughter, and perhaps a more traditional tear or two, in this concert series that features the best songs and performers from NYMMT’s acclaimed concert series from southern NH.
Playing a range of characters to live piano accompaniment, audiences get a glimpse of musical theater at its finest and simplest – just a vocalist or two onstage, telling a story through music. No fancy costumes or expensive lighting needed – just talented performers and a good story. Shows may include 110 in the Shade, A Little Night MusicJohnny Pye and the Fool-KillerMarilynMy Favorite YearLa Cage Aux FollesLittle Shop of HorrorsRaisinStarting HereStarting NowThe Goodbye Girl, and Woman of the Year.
Budget more limited? Don’t need a full 60 or 90 minute show? We’re happy to discuss other options, whether you’d like to book 1 or 2 performers or even would like to choose the theme for the evening. We have three years of material to pull from and our actors are exceptionally versatile. Email us at notyourmoms@gmail.com.
