Brooklyn gets a Hedwig sing-a-long tonight (along the lines of Rocky and the Sound of Music, we presume) and we are jealous. Details are here.

After a short break to recoup, and after the realization that we need to allow a bit more prep time before transferring [title of show], we are starting work on our original show, scheduled to open in the fall, and beginning to plan the upcoming season. We’re hoping to perform 2-3 shows each, plus occasional fundraisers/cabarets/events, and in addition we’re hoping to offer more workshops and in-school residencies. Stay tuned and as always, feel free to share your suggestions and feedback!
Only two more days until the last performance of [title of show] at the Lyceum in the Derryfield School! There are plenty of seats left, but if you don’t want to worry about having a ticket available you should reserve yours in advance HERE. The first two shows were an incredible success-visit our Press and Quotes page to hear what our audiences have been saying-so please plan to join us (or rejoin us!) on Friday if possible. You won’t regret it! Doors open at 7:30 PM and the show starts promptly at 8 PM. Tickets are only $15, or $5 for standing room.
Don’t miss your last chance to see the Musical of Musicals cast return in this fantastic, hilarious musical theater piece!
Our [title of show] crew is enduring snow and sickness to triumph and produce a show for you tomorrow (the 22nd) and on January 28th. The most recent adventure? With all of the snow in NH on Tuesday, we had to rehearse our lines via facebook group chat. Seriously. And we did! This just may be a world record or something.
Bought your tickets yet? As of noon today, there are only 26 seats left for tomorrow night at 7 PM($15), plus 4 standing room seats for only $5. There are still plenty of seats for the 9 PM show and Friday the 28th as well.
Come be part of it all! To quote [title of show], “This show f*@%in rocks!” Reserve your tickets HERE or just arrive early to the show of your choice to make sure you get a seat. Doors open about a half hour before. (Make sure you arrive early enough to figure out where to park. We’re in the “Upper School” parking lot, NOT the Auditorium and its parking lot, so use the main entrance.)
Come see the cast that made actor and director Marc Murai say “by far the most solid/talented cast I have yet to see since moving here to NH in 2007″!
Not Your Mom’s Musical Theater is busy multi-tasking this week. We’ve got folks building signs and making costumes, creating new posters and sending press releases, and of course, rehearsing non-stop for [title of show]! Ticket sales are picking up (Saturday January 22nd at 7 PM is the most popular so far) so we suggest you choose a date and buy your tickets, as the show is next weekend and the following weekend only! Although this show is at the Derryfield School, it is NOT in the big auditorium-it’s in the Lyceum, which is a lecture hall in the Upper School building, and it only seats 70 chairs and 6 standing room only customers. So please reserve your tickets now (they’ll be held at Will Call for you at the door) to save yourself the chance of us selling out and you missing out on this show.
Thank you as always for supporting our quirky, affordable musical theater model. We couldn’t do it without you!

Happy almost New Year, everyone! I hope you’ve enjoyed the holiday season and are getting excited for NH’s premiere of the hilarious, self-aware musical [title of show] on January 22nd and 28th. Tickets are only $15 and will sell quickly, or you can save extra dough with standing room only for $5! See our [title of show] page for more information. The 2nd announcement is that our fanciest vlog yet is complete. Don’t miss it! Hope to see you all soon at [title of show]!
Not Your Mom’s Musical Theater brings music and improv to The Jam Factory tonight, interspersed with some crazy off-color Christmas skits courtesy of Neptune Sushi Productions. Improv at 7, main show at 8, and Tunafish Discrepancy brings their tongue-in-cheek rock as well. Hope to see you there! Tickets on our Not Your Mom’s Sushi tab and at the door after 4 pm.

After Heidi and Jennifer didn’t show up to a [tos] rehearsal last night, Mike and Joey were forced to record a blog themselves. Here is the results, to the tune of “Santa Baby”. Enjoy.
NYMMT is upping the level of ingenuity with our next vlog, which talks about how we write a vlog. Enjoy the video and keep checking back for our future updates. We’ll likely take a couple of weeks off for Thanksgiving but then we’ll be back. Have some great times with family and friends next week everyone! Tickets are up for the Christmas show and we hope to see you there! More info under Not Your Mom’s Sushi. Enjoy!
